Jennifer and Jonathan

We recently shot this sweet couple, Jennifer and Jonathan. They were married at Lido Beach in Sarasota on a warm May evening. Pink roses with blue stones were intertwined in the bouquets and shoes were optional.  They were so excited to start their day they had no problem seeing each other before ceremony to get some amazing photos and some good quiet time together. Jennifer was without a doubt one of the most photogenic brides we have had pleasure of working with. We wish them a life full of happiness and a future full of Amore!

Ashley and Cole had a beautiful ceremony at the Lange Farm in Dade City, FL. Lange Farm is such a beautiful location to be at from the green fields and country barn to the horses running in the distance. It was the perfect canvas for their amazing day. We wish them both all the happiness and Amore in their new lives!

Amanda & Jose / Longboat Key, FL

The end of our year is winding down a bit and I finally have some time to catch up on my blogging, Facebooking and Twittering. I don’t know if I can take any more social software for the next couple years so I hope these few stick, LOL. On to Amanda and Jose…

Amanda and Jose had been together for a long time. It was explained during toasts and stories that they originally met in high school spanish class and had been together ever since. There’s just something warm and soothing inside to see a couple who is so comfortable in the other’s hands and arms that it makes you think everyone should be so lucky to truly know the person inside and out as they say their vows. We wish them both a bright future full of happiness, laughter and of course…good ol’ Amore!

Jennifer & James/ Anderson Park- Tarpon Springs, FL

Every now and then, we get a little gem of an event to photograph that demonstrates not everyone thinks inside the wedding industry “box”. Jennifer and James were one such couple that showed they could share the most beautiful moment in each other’s lives and have fun at the same time. They happen to pick one of my favorite local parks in Anderson Park of Tarpon Springs and threw a wedding with an Alice in Wonderland theme! The groom arrived complete with top hat and crazy hair do- a la classic Mad Hatter and the decorations made me wish my kids could’ve been there. It really was so much fun and all their guests were treated to crumpets, scones, sandwiches and other delightful treats. There were tea cup sets at every table and they even had croquet set up for anyone to play! I just had to display more than the usual amount of photos because this wedding was eye candy for the detail starved individuals out there and just so unique from what I normally photograph. Here’s wishing them eternal Amore as they jump into the rabbit hole!

Ian & Alexandra/ New York City

It was so hard to pick just a few pictures of the wedding I shot in NY recently. I might not have even done it justice displaying just the ones below but I hope that you all enjoy and just know this was one heck of a wedding to photograph for this Florida boy. Even though I had lived in NY briefly when I was a teenager, I had never been to Grand Central Station (I know…I’m odd). It was the special locale of their choice and it was amazing. Only thing I had to make sure of was that nobody ran off with my equipment while I was taking pictures, LOL. Afterwards, they headed back to their reception at a wonderful little restaurant named Aleo’s located off West 20th Street. Simply put, this wedding was a breath of fresh air. Here’s wishing Ian and Alexandra a wonderful marriage and some sweet Amore sprinkled on top!

Beth and Neil/ Sarasota, FL

For all of those that have been getting on me for some more blogging, I know I’m behind. Truth is, I’ve been extremely busy and it isn’t slowing down for November. Even traveled to NY to shoot a wedding up there and will have a blog entry with those pics soon. On to Beth & Neil:

Beth & Neil were a wedding photographer’s dream. They’re the couple who most would say are non-traditional because they didn’t mind seeing each other before the ceremony. Their reason: GET GREAT PICTURES with the various locations that beautiful Sarasota has to offer. When a couple allows for this time to get creative and not be held within the confines of traditional scheduling or routines, we love to deliver. I think we achieved a great look for their day. We wish them both all the happiness in the world and a lifetime full of Amore!

Cheryl and Kai

I love photographing relaxed subjects. Cheryl & Kai were calm, cool and in love. Their ceremony and reception were at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa. Being from Canada, Kai had guests that traveled far for their nuptials. Emotions ran high since Cheryl is due to leave Florida to start her new life with Kai in Canada and it pulled on everyone’s emotional strings as the toasts were given and the afternoon went on. We’d like to wish them a safe and happy trip up north and a lifetime full of Amore!

Steve & Yana

A short but sweet wedding over at the River Hills Country Club in Valrico for Steve and Yana. The theme was Paris and the whole event was relaxed and laid back. Lots of friends and family made this another night full of Amore! Congratulations to them both.

Terin & Jake

From the moment I met Terin and her mother Schezy, I knew that they were two people who new exactly what they wanted and had a vivid idea in their minds of what they were going to make this special day look like. I had the pleasure of meeting Jake later on at their engagement session and these two are so easy going that it’s hard to believe they were able to get such attention to detail accomplished for the beautiful look this wedding had. Of course, I had the pleasure of working with Cindy Stonehouse of Stonehouse Events once again and she’s just marvelous. She kept the day flowing smoothly without stress…love that in a planner. Also worked with Lindell Austin from Blueeyed Video again and he was extremely professional and let us still photographers do what we needed to do.

The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Church in Downtown Tampa while the reception took us back to the Renaissance Hotel’s beautiful Costa Del Sol Ballroom. From personalized & embroidered towels with each bridesmaid’s name on it to the gelato station that appeared later in the night, this event was one to remember and chock-full of details. Photo opportunity at Terin’s parent’s home, cigar roller, picture post cards on doors, flower arrangements at every single table…the list goes on and on. Here’s to them having a wonderful honeymoon and wishing them a future full of Amore!

Young love on Longboat Key Beach…

Don’t let their positively young exteriors fool you. These two individuals were some of the most mature, professional and in love people I’ve met to date. A little scare from Tropical Storm Bonnie had us all a bit worried. I brought a rain cover for my equipment, an umbrella for myself & camera and a whole lotta hope that it wouldn’t rain for their nuptials. The clouds in the sky were telling us it was going to pour at any moment. In the end I felt maybe 5 droplets of water right after ceremony and that little bit of drizzle provided Bryce and Jennifer with a Florida background canvas for the ages. The sunset that resulted was simply stunning. I might have overdone the sunset pictures in this preview but it deserved it. It made me feel like I was on vacation for a second, LOL. Bryce & Jennifer showed us they have the kind of love that makes their noses krinkle because they’re smiling so hard as they look into each others eyes. Here’s wishing them a honeymoon and lifetime full of Amore!
